More Vacation 2007

Hunter is watching the kids play outside!! He loves them so much!!

Hunter is our dog we found about 3 years ago. We found him when he was 4 months old while we were hanging our tree stand for hunting. He was badly beatin and abused by a male with a chain. It has been a long road with him because when we first brought him home we thought everyone was going to make us get rid of him because he was just a lil' guy and I had already fallen in love with him on our truck ride home. We went to Farm and Fleet on our way home and Mike went in and bought a water bowl and collar for him. So my parents finally decided that they weren't going to make me get rid of him. I was so excited!!! We even have him in the house!! I know that might be shocking to some because we were never allowed to have pets in the house unless they were hamsters! Up until just about the begining of this year he had still been very skiddish and there were some people he would not go up to. But he has opened up so much now that everyone can hardly believe it. He is going up to strange people who come in the house that he has never known. Before if you opened the window in a car while going down the road he would get on the floorboard and shake like mad. But now he still doesn't like the windows in the back open so we just roll down the front windows and he is just okay with smelling the air and such like that. Hunter is a very big Momma's boy and very spoiled!! We are very blessed because 2 of Hunter's favorite people are Mike's niece and nephew. They can do anything they want and he will just sit there and take it until he gets tired and just gets up and moves. We love him to death and I just wanted to put some pictures of him on here and tell his story!!! Talk to you later!!

Wildlife Prarie Park ~ 2007

This last summer Mike, Evan (our friend), Ashlee, and I decided to take Samantha (Mike's niece), Patrick (Mike's nephew), and Devin to Wildlife Prarie Park. We had such a great time!! We took the kids on the train first because it looked like it was going to rain. Then we went and had lunch on the picnic tables by the parking lot because we wanted to eat before we set out on the adventure ahead of us! We rented two red wagons and had such an awesome time with the kids and had lots of fun ourselves!!! We were having so much fun and then it started to sprinkle a little. We still continued because we only had a little ways left to go. Then we took them in to see the reptiles and things indoors before we ran for the truck because of the rain. We had an awesome time and the kids were so excited about it they talked about it for a week afterward.

Vacation 2007

Hello all! Well this year we went on vacation to Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. Mike and I talked Ashlee into going with us this year. It was so much fun. We shared a 3 bedroom condo with Mike's parents and his sister, her husband, and their little girl. It was so much fun. We mini golfed, rode go karts, and went for boat rides. We also took a day and went to Springfield, Missouri and went to Bass Pro Shops and ate at Lamberts "Home of the thrown roll." I love that place. I have a couple of pictures from Bass Pro Shops and will add more later!!
